This privacy policy applies to the website thessaloniki-taxi.gr and the private transfer service operated under it ("we", "us", "our"). We provide private taxi and transfer services from Thessaloniki Airport (SKG) to destinations in Greece and beyond.

2. What Data We Collect
We collect personal data only when you voluntarily submit it to us, specifically when you use our booking request form. The data we collect may include:

- Email address
- Phone number
- Pick-up and drop-off locations
- Flight number and travel date/time
- Number of passengers and luggage
- Any special requirements you choose to share (child seats, accessibility needs, etc.)
We do not collect any data automatically beyond standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) that are retained for a maximum of 30 days for security purposes.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use the data you submit exclusively to:
- Respond to your booking request and confirm your transfer
- Coordinate your pick-up and drop-off
- Contact you in case of changes to your booking (e.g., flight delays)
- Send you a booking confirmation via email or WhatsApp
We do not use your data for marketing purposes, do not sell your data to third parties, and do not share it with any party other than our driver who will carry out your transfer.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on the basis of contract performance (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) — specifically, to carry out the transfer service you have requested — and legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) for the purpose of responding to enquiries sent to us via the contact form.
5. Data Retention
Booking-related personal data is retained for a maximum of 12 months from the date of the transfer and then deleted. If a booking request does not result in a confirmed transfer, the data is deleted within 30 days of the last communication.
6. Cookies
This website uses only functional cookies necessary for the operation of the site. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics tools that process personal data. A cookie consent notice is displayed on your first visit; you may withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies.
The only cookie we set is a first-party cookie (tt_cookie_consent) that stores your cookie preference to avoid showing the consent banner repeatedly. It contains no personal data and expires after 365 days.

8. Third-Party Services
Our booking form is processed via Netlify Forms. Netlify may temporarily store form submissions on their servers in accordance with their own privacy policy (netlify.com/privacy). We use this service solely to receive your booking request and do not authorise Netlify to use your data for any other purpose.
We use Google Fonts to load the Inter typeface. This makes a request to Google's servers when you load the page. Google may log the request including your IP address. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.
No other third-party services with access to personal data are used on this website.
9. Data Security
All data transmission between your browser and this website is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Booking data received via the contact form is accessed only by the service operator and the driver assigned to your transfer. We do not store payment card data — all payments are handled in cash or via agreed payment methods outside this website.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The current version is always available at thessaloniki-taxi.gr/privacy-policy/. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
