Booking Conditions & Passenger Rules
Please read these conditions before booking. By confirming a transfer with us you agree to the terms below.
Important Booking Information
Night Rate
For transfers scheduled after 00:00 local time, a higher night rate applies. Please confirm the exact price with our manager when booking a night transfer. Night surcharges reflect the conditions of nighttime driving and reduced availability of vehicles at late hours.
Return Transfer Discount
A discount is available when booking a return transfer. We recommend booking round-trip transfers to benefit from the best available rate. Please contact our manager directly for details when making a combined booking. Discounts are applied at the manager's discretion and must be agreed at the time of booking.
Free Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the scheduled trip departure. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the trip may incur a cancellation fee. No-shows (failure to appear at the agreed pick-up point without prior notice) will be charged in full.
Booking Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed only after you receive written or verbal confirmation from our manager. Completing the contact form constitutes a booking request, not a confirmed booking. We will confirm within 30 minutes of receiving your request during normal operating hours.
Price Guarantee
All prices displayed on this website are fixed per vehicle, not per person, and include all road tolls and parking fees at the airport. The confirmed price at the time of booking will not change, regardless of traffic conditions or delays caused by external factors (weather, road works, etc.).
Flight Monitoring
We monitor the status of your incoming flight. If your flight is delayed, we will adjust the pick-up time accordingly at no extra charge. This service applies to airport arrivals only and requires that you provide your correct flight number at the time of booking.
Passenger & Baggage Transport Rules
Prohibited Actions in the Vehicle
- Consumption of food and sweet drinks inside the vehicle cabin.
- Smoking or use of electronic cigarettes inside the vehicle.
- Consumption of alcoholic beverages inside the vehicle.
- Any behaviour that endangers the safety of the driver or other passengers.
Seat Belts
The use of seat belts is mandatory for all passengers while the vehicle is in motion. This applies to all seats, including rear seats. Passengers who refuse to wear a seat belt may be declined transport at the driver's discretion.
Baggage Rules
- All luggage must be transported in the vehicle's luggage compartment.
- Only one personal bag or piece of hand luggage per person is permitted inside the cabin.
- Oversized items, sports equipment or extra luggage must be declared at the time of booking to ensure an appropriate vehicle is allocated.
- The driver reserves the right to decline transport of undeclared oversized luggage if it cannot be safely accommodated.
Stops During the Journey
For long transfers exceeding 60 minutes, passengers may request a single stop of up to 20 minutes free of charge for lunch or toilet visits. Additional stops or stops for shopping are possible only with the explicit agreement of the driver and may affect the total journey time.
Cash Payment
When paying in cash, passengers are requested to have the exact amount or to inform the driver in advance about the required change. We accept payment in Euro (EUR). The driver may not carry large amounts of change.
Cabin Cleaning Fee
A cleaning fee of €50 applies for soiling the vehicle cabin. This includes but is not limited to: salt water from wet beach clothing, spilled drinks, food residue, stains from careless handling of items, and similar soiling that requires professional dry cleaning. This fee reflects the actual cost of restoring the vehicle to service and is charged regardless of how the soiling occurred.
Child Safety
Child seats are available on request and must be specified at the time of booking. Parents and guardians are responsible for properly securing children in child seats during the journey. Please indicate the age and weight of each child when booking so that an appropriate seat is provided.
Passenger Conduct
The driver reserves the right to terminate a journey without refund if a passenger's conduct endangers safety, is abusive towards the driver, or causes damage to the vehicle. Intoxicated passengers may be refused transport at the driver's discretion.
Liability
Thessaloniki Taxi — Private Transfer Service operates as an independent transfer service and is not affiliated with Thessaloniki International Airport "Makedonia" (SKG) or any airline, hotel or travel agency. We carry public liability insurance as required by Greek law. Our liability for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (flight delays, traffic incidents, border queues, force majeure) is limited to the refund of the transfer price.
We accept no liability for items left in the vehicle. Any found items will be held for collection for a period of 7 days and then disposed of in accordance with applicable regulations.
