In Loutraki, Pella, 13 klm west of Aridaia, there are mineral springs that gush out at 37 degrees celcius, with a remarkable chemical composition. The hot water has healing properties and it’s drinkable. Visitors use it for hydrotherapy, positehrapy (water drinking therapy), toning and relaxation.

A cave complex of about 15 caves has been discovered in the area, with plenty of prehistoric findings, which are exhibited in the small museum of Loutra. The area has been declared a cave park (Cave park of Almopia) and it is the first of its kind in Greece.
