Edessa wouldn’t have been called the city of waters if it hadn’t been for the renowned Waterfalls, the largest in the Balkans. The waterfalls are located on the edge of a rock at a unique geopark sculpted by the water; “the eyebrow of the city” with 11 waterfalls. Two of these waterfalls are large, accessible, visible, can be visited and offer the visitor a unique sense of the force of nature creating the myth of the water state.

The Waterfall Geopark stretches in an area of more than 100.000 sqm. There is a rock path more than 1.1 km long. Located near the city center, it is the main touristic attraction and one of the most remarkable landmarks in Greece. The Waterfall Park offers open recreation and meeting facilities available for all to enjoy.
